ASSOCIATE
Ms. Sana Z. Shah joined our firm in April 2014. Like the majority of the attorneys at Kegel, Tobin & Truce, Sana represents the interests of insured employers and their carriers in the defense of matters before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board.
Experience: Sana’s passion for the law came from a book report she was required to complete in the fourth grade chronicling the life and professional career of the first female United States Supreme Court Justice, Sandra Day O’Connor. Justice O’Connor’s drive, ambition, and passion for the law, even in the face of gender discrimination prevalent at her time, was exceptionally inspiring to Ms. Shah.
Prior to her arrival at Kegel, Tobin & Truce, Sana was an associate attorney for a full-service business and civil litigation firm in Beverly Hills where she practiced civil and business litigation, family law and civil rights litigation, and engaged in appellate practice.
Education: Sana earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and History from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2007. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2010.
Bar Admissions: California, 2010
