Unlike a fine wine – or his fine wife – Mr. Calumpang believes that comp claims generally do not get better with age. Mr. Calumpang prides himself on quick anticipation and analysis of the issues in his cases. He moves cases towards settlement or trial posture to his clients’ best advantage. Those that should be settled are settled, and those that should be taken to trial are tried. Mr. Calumpang’s aggressive yet pragmatic approach to litigation is appreciated by his clients and respected by colleagues in the industry. His varied clientele includes self-insured employers, national insurance companies, and public entities.
Mr. Calumpang holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from California State University. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in 1999. District Attorney’s office. Later, a plaintiff’s litigation firm hired Mr. Calumpang as a law clerk as well.
The main focus was on complex professional negligence and products liability.
